So my name is Court, but you can call me; Inora. I have been doing this roleplay thing for about 6 or 7, which is nothing compared to my 18 years on this crazy planet. I make all my characters lead such angsty lives. It's a wonder they don't hate me. OH! One more thing, I came across your site through Sevanni Black, the most awesome person on the planet. I just wanted to let you know that.

Best memory;; PawPaw padded on her tiny white feet over to the foot of my bed, climbing atop the mattress using nothing more than her claws. I was still asleep but the story was relayed to me. I felt this tiny little pressure on my stomach and when I woke up, there was this adorable little Westinghouse terrier puppy on my chest, no bigger than the palm of my hand. I'd been begging my parents for months to get me one, but the excuses kept coming. I never get presents for my birthday since it's so close to Christmas, but this year my parents had decided to do something special. And there she was, my something special, PawPaw. My first pet, and my first shift form.
Worst memory;; As I was washing my car I heard a terrified bark from the direction of the stream out in our backyard. I ran toward it quickly, leaving the hose spraying water widely all around. When I got to the side of the stream I knew I was too late, PawPaw was resting limply in the jaws of a snapping turtle. My best friend was dead and it was all my fault. I'd left the door open that day, forgetting PawPaw's love to swim, and the dangers the stream posed for her.
Personality;; Addie is a sweetheart, she likes to help people and she tries her best to always make friends with the people she meets. She trusts the good in everyone implicitly and therefore sometimes finds it hard to believe that anyone could be bad. This leads her into trouble more often than not. However, she is smart and caring and enjoys giving her friends and family her whole heart.

History;; Born in the wintry chill of January, Shi Lin Ju, later to be known as Adelaide Boudreaux, took her first screaming breaths. She was born in Malaysia, but her mother, a young prostitute, was unable to keep the small child so she left her at a local orphanage to be adopted, hoping she would go to someone famous and lead a life of prosperity.
Shi Lin stayed in the orphanage for only three months before being adopted by a high-ranking Louisiana senator. The man and his wife split up almost immediately after the paperwork was all completed and he was unable to keep Shi Lin either. He had friends who offered to take the child but the senator knew that the best place for her was with his childhood babysitter, who had always wanted a child but had never been able to conceive.
Colette and Jacques Boudreaux were already in the 40's when Shi Lin came to their home but they fell in love with her instantly and took her in. They changed her name to Adelaide Odette Boudreaux, after their mother's, and began to raise the girl as if she were their own child. She seemed normal at first, but she had always had a healthy curiosity about animals. Colette and Jacques thought nothing of it, until one night things got out of hand.
For her tenth birthday, Addie had received a small white puppy. The two quickly became inseparable and Addie's parents began to notice that Addie would talk to the animal as if it could actually understand what she was saying. Then one day, in front of their very eyes, Addie began to convulse. She had been sitting, talking to PawPaw like usual, but suddenly she had begun to twitch and next thing the Boudreaux's knew, Addie was gone and there were two white puppies.
Sometime later, Addie changed back to herself and begged her parents to explain what was happening to her. The Boudreaux's apologized and told her they had no information for her. Addie waited until she turned 18, slowly learning her abilities and limitations. Once she was an adult, she went out into the world looking for someone to teach her the do's and don'ts of what she was. Someone to explain why she could change into animals.
She found her teacher and now wanders around in the Bon Temps area, looking for other young shifters that need her help and guidance.
