Addie smiled to herself when she realized the vampire girl's sarcastic thoughts. Or at least the gist of them. Adelaide was no telepath after all, simply a shifter. But the boy was human, and he seemed scared, but not as scared as he should be. That meant he'd had run ins with vampires before. Interesting.
However, he was scared which meant that he would be jetting out of here as soon as possible, and he would be leaving Addie with one very hungry and possibly dying vampire. How sweet of him.
Adelaide sighed and knelt beside the girl. She looked back up at the boy and smiled as nicely as possible. "If you ain't gonna offer up some of your blood you best be getting on outta here cher." Addie smoothed the hair on the girls forehead back and grimaced, oh yes, this poor thing needed blood.
Addie had never given a vampire her blood before, she wasn't sure what the shifter blood in her would do to a vampire.
"Honey, have you ever had blood from a shifter before? Or even heard of a shifter?" Some part of Addie had chimed in that the two of them might have no earthly idea what a shifter was. That might cause some problems.
"I might taste a little different than what you're used to sweetie, but you need blood and I got plenty of it." Addie moved behind the girl and picked up her shoulders gently. "I'm going to put your head in my lap so this is a little easier. I'm sorry if there's pain."
Moving the girl was surprisingly easy, she was thin and light. Addie moved her wrist to the girl's lips and smiled softly down at her. "Go ahead, dig in, dinner's done. Sorry if it's a little strange tasting."
This was the last thing she would have expected to happen tonight, sitting in the middle of the woods letting a vampire girl suck blood from her. And it would take a fair amount of Adelaide's blood to heal the vampire, soon it would be Addie that was lying exhausted on the ground, but she would be glad to help a young girl.
Even if she was a blood-sucking vampire.
